HOYT FAMILY HISTORY

Abram Hoyt

1724 - Born the youngest of eight children of Daniel and Elizabeth (Keeler) Hoyt in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on October 1st.

1750 - Abram married Dorothy Keeler (a Congregationalist) in New Canaan, Fairfield County, Connecticut when he was 25 and she was 18. See Keeler / Hoyt lineage.

Abram and Dorothy (Keeler) Hoyt had ten children:

The first two children were born in South Salem, NY and the rest at New Canaan, CT.

Abram was a teacher. Dorothy died sometime after 1774.

1798 - Abram died in South Salem, Westchester County, New York. He was 74.
